Holistic Scoring of the General Education Objectives

Each of the four General Education Objectives has criteria for scoring artifacts submitted by students. The artifacts chosen may be from assignments that are course-embedded or as a special "assessment" activity. Each objective has its own outcomes statement and method of scoring.

The rubrics and standards for each of the four objectives are presently under revision during the Fall 2005 semester. The AAC is currently in the process of reviewing and revising the writing, cultural diversity, and mathematics rubrics and standards. The revision of the rubrics and standards is evidence of the continuous improvement of the assessment process and procedures.
