Institutions of higher learning undergo a periodic process of self-study to ensure that they continue to meet the criteria for accreditation.
NPCC is on a ten-year cycle. Our last self-study and review by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) occurred in 2001. Our current self-study process concludes in 2011, with submission of the Self-Study Report to the HLC in late summer, followed by an onsite visit of the HLC Review Team in the fall.
During the two-year self-study process, NPCC will review its processes, programs, facilities and college plan to ensure that we continue to fulfill our mission to all of our constituents.
The Self-Study process is guided by a Steering Committee that includes members from the faculty and staff of the College.
