National Park Community College Choral Students Win Music
Scholarships to Attend Henderson State University

Three NPCC choral music students have been chosen by Dr. Stephen Eaves, Choral Director, HSU, as recipients of choir scholarships for the fall of 2008. The students are: Caleb Bahr, Brandon Tryon, and Elizabeth Sorensen.

Bahr, who will be majoring in music at HSU in the fall of 2008, has received a full-tuition scholarship. Bahr has been in the NPCC Singers since the spring of 2007 and has studied voice with Denise Edds, Choral Director at NPCC.

Brandon Tryon, a vocal student of Suzetta Glenn, adjunct voice instructor at NPCC, has been in the Singers since the fall of 2006 and will be receiving a scholarship to sing in the HSU Choir for the fall of 2008. Brandon will be majoring in Business.

Elizabeth Sorensen has been in the NPCC Singers since the fall of 2006 and has been a work study for Mrs. Edds since spring of 2007. Elizabeth will be receiving a scholarship through the HSU choral program for the fall of 2008. Elizabeth has also studied voice with Denise Edds, Choral Director at NPCC.
