The Business Division offers certificate and associate degree programs designed to prepare students for employment in the business field, as well as opportunities for continuing promotion and advancement. The certificate and associate degree programs are in the areas of Accounting, Banking, Business, Computer Information Systems, Office Administration, and Paralegal.

Business Division Objectives Mission Statement

To accomplish its mission, the Business Division offers:

  • Courses for entry-level positions
  • Programs for transfer to other institutions
  • Programs for career advancement
  • Courses for personal development

While completing one or more of the objectives of the Business Division, the student will achieve the following skills through traditional as well as alternative delivery methods:

  • Acquire basic discipline-specific knowledge
  • Expand technology skills
  • Enhance decision making skills
  • Develop critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Expand written and oral communication skills
  • Broaden ethical reasoning skills
  • Cultivate values and attitudes of a professional
