A window that suddenly appears (pops up) when you select an option with a mouse or press a special function key. Usually, the pop-up window stays on the screen until you select a command from it. What is a PDF File?
By using Adobe Acrobat software, an individual can generate a
Portable Document Format (PDF) file from a file created in any
of various applications. Others with Adobe Reader can then open
and view the PDF file, even if they do not have the application
in which the original document was created or work on the same
computer platform (e.g., Windows or Macintosh) that was used to
create the file. Most Web browsers have an Adobe "helper file"
or plug-in that will open a PDF file. Some computers use a separate

What is Flash?
Flash is an animation/programming tool used to develop animations
and interactive applications that can be displayed within a Web
page. All modern Web browsers should have a Flash "helper file"
or plug-in that automatically senses and displays a Flash file

What is QuickTime?
QuickTime is an application used to develop movie and sound files
that can be displayed within a Web page. All modern browsers should
have a QuickTime "helper file" or plug-in that automatically senses
and displays a QuickTime file embedded in a Web page. Download QuickTime.
What is Windows Media Player?
Windows Media Player is a free software media player used for playing audio and video on personal computers running Microsoft Windows. Download Windows Media Player.
What is Real Player?
Real Player is a tool to play images using a so-called "streaming" method. A player is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh machines. Since it is not usually pre-installed, you will need to install the software manually if your PC is not equipped with Real Player. Download Real Player.
