GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

All candidates for graduation must submit an Application to Graduate according to the following schedule to be sure they have satisfied the requirements for graduation listed below.

By no later than:
- October 28 for Fall graduation
- March 1 for Spring graduation
- July 1 for Summer graduation


1. Successful completion of all courses within the program certification requirements with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
2. Successful completion of the required number of credits.
3. Students graduating from National Park Community College must complete 18 semester hours in residence at NPCC. Each additional associate degree will require another 18 semester hours with the College and the satisfactory completion al all required courses.
4. Satisfaction of all financial obligations due to the College.

Submit completed Application to the Student Services Reception Desk on the second floor of the Fisher Building. A counselor will contact you to review your Application. Even if you do not plan to participate in the commencement ceremony, you must complete a graduation application to receive you diploma.

Diplomas will be mailed to the address on your Application after the degree has been verified, approximately 4 – 6 weeks after graduation. Transcripts are the official document indicating the degree and one may be requested approximately three weeks after graduation.

Catalog Rights

Students may meet the graduation requirements listed in the catalog in effect at the time they enter the institution, or those listed in any later catalog. Exceptions to this policy include requirements from a catalog more than three years old or changes in a program or curriculum mandated by external accrediting agencies.
