Available Scholarship are provided as service of the Admissions and Scholarships Office. For more information contact Sara Brown at the Ish Stivers Building or call (501)760-4275, E-mail : sbrown@npcc.edu Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants Scholarship Applications are being accepted for the Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants Scholarships. They recognize the need of most students today to receive financial assistance to be able to continue with their education. They will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s).
Application Process Full details are available on their site. Students will submit an essay on one of the two topics that appear on the scholarship page of their web site: http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm ArkADE Scholarship Opportunity The Arkansas Association for Developmental Education, ArkADE, will award a one-time $500 scholarship to a deserving student that meets the following qualifications:

The ArkADE Student Scholarship application form and supporting materials must be received by May 30,2008! AES Engineers Scholarship The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. Scholarship Criteria: You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. How to Apply: Amount of award: $500.00 AES Engineers’ belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason, they are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. Further information, including previous winners, is available on their web site at: http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.htm Jim Yeargan Scholarship This is a New Scholarship that will be awarded to one or two qualifying students for the Fall 2008 semester. The scholarship may be used toward tuition, fees, and/or books. Criteria:
To apply, please complete the NPCC Scholarship application along with the required items listed on the front of the application, and the one-page essay, as stated above. The completed application and all required attachments should be returned to the office of Sara Brown by May 16, 2008! Mid-America Science Museum Volunteer Association Scholarship Eligible students must be either a college Junior or Senior majoring in a science discipline (for example: agriculture, animal studies, science education, astronomy, biology, chemistry, ecology, physics, zoology, etc.) during the school year in which the scholarship will be used. Student must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.00. The Volunteer Association will be awarding one $1,500 scholarship. You must also attach a copy of your transcript, a one page essay (explaining financial need, why you chose to study science, and your future plans), and two letters of recommendations from your professors. Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships Ambassadorial Scholarships, The Rotary Foundation's oldest and best-known program, was founded in 1947. Since then, nearly 37,000 men and women from about 100 nations have studied abroad under its auspices. Today it is the world's largest privately funded international scholarships program. Nearly 800 scholarships were awarded for study in 2005-06. Through grants totaling approximately US$500 million, recipients from about 70 countries studied in more than 70 nations. Rotary Foundation Offers Scholarship Opportunities The Rotary Foundation offers several scholarship opportunities for individuals wanting to study in another country. These awards include one or two year scholarships for college/university study. Scholarships for either three or six months are offered for those interested in intensive language study. Candidates must have completed at least two years of university or college course work at the time the scholarship period begins or have a secondary school education with em¬ployment in a recognized vocation for at least two years. Rotary also offers grants for University Teachers who want to travel abroad to teach at colleges and universities in developing countries. Candidates for these scholarships must be non-Rotarians. Rotary Grants for University Teachers Rotary Grants for University Teachers provide funds to higher education faculty to travel abroad to teach at colleges and universities in developing countries. The program is intended to build international understanding and foster development while strengthening higher education in low-income countries. The program also aims to establish ties between higher education institutions, leading to the exchange of ideas and information across the globe. The subjects taught by grant recipients must be relevant to the needs of the local population and contribute to the area's socio-economic development Eligibility criteria

Please check online to see if you could qualify! . Scholarship Opportunity for Single Parents This award is for the Fall 2008 Semester. The amount of the award will depend on available funds and number of applicants. To apply for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements.

Tylenol Scholarship Opportunity Tuition Assistance for Healthcare students! The makers of TYLENOL realize that education costs are rising steeply, making it difficult for students and parents to keep up. That’s why, in 2009, they will be awarding a total of $250,000 in scholarship money to outstanding students who are pursuing health-related studies. WCASHRM Scholarship The West Central Arkansas Society for Human Resource Management (WCASHRM) scholarship is awarded to one individual and is based on a variety of factors, including: academic performance, demonstrated leadership, human resource related experience and/or extracurricular activities, career goals and overall presentation capabilities. At minimum, WCASHRM sponsors one (1) $500 scholarship to an undergraduate (junior or senior status) or graduate student annually. The 2008-2009 scholarship is open to any student who meets the following requirements:
