Getting Started
Admissions Policy Registration

As a comprehensive community college, National Park Community College seeks to serve all who wish to avail themselves of its various courses, services, and facilities.

The College admits applicants:

  1. by a certificate of graduation (transcript) from accredited secondary schools;
  2. by transfer from other accredited colleges and universities;
  3. by presentation of a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.), if under age 23;
  4. by special permission, if the applicant wishes
    to attend as a part-time or unclassified student;
  5. by evaluation of the applicant's background of education and experience to determine probable success in an appropriate program;
  6. and, to adult and continuing education non-credit courses, which is open to all members of the community.

Students should register for courses during the official registration periods prior to the beginning of every semester. Students must complete an admissions data form prior to beginning the registration procedure.

Enrollment is not complete until all required admission credentials are received and approved.

Orientation is a short session that will acquaint you with our campus and procedures available to new students. You will be advised of dates and times. Call 501-760-4233 for more information.

The college reserves the right to deny admission, re-admission or registration for a violation of academic integrity, for failure to make academic progress as outlined in the college catalog, or for the inability of the college to provide appropriate learning environment, courses or programs needed to meet educational objectives. In such cases, student(s) may be required to document improvement of circumstances prior to enrollment. In such cases where the college is unable to provide services, assistance may be provided to help find an appropriate learning environment for the student.
