Description of Services

Tutoring
Tutoring is provided free of charge to NPCC students and is funded by NPCC, The Learning Acceleration Division and the Achieving the Dream Initiative. Tutoring is available for many subjects taught at NPCC and is conducted by both professional and peer tutors.

NPCC has two tutoring centers: 

    (1) LAD’s Math Lab in Learning Acceleration Division Office Building, 1st Floor for tutoring in Basic Math and Beginning Algebra (see tutoring schedule below).

    (2) LAD’s Writing Lab in Learning Acceleration Division Office Building, 1st Floor (see tutoring schedule below).

    (3) NPCC’s Math and Science Lab in MS-203 for tutoring in Math and Biological Sciences, Greg Fulton, Mon - Thu, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM; Fridays, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM, and Saturdays, 10:30am - 2:30PM

For courses not listed, contact Greg Fulton in Room 313 cc in the Fisher Campus Center.

Always talk with your instructor when you need assistance in a subject. Several departments have special tutoring in their subjects, contact each division chairperson for information.
