Description of Services

Tutoring
Tutoring is provided free of charge to NPCC students and is funded by NPCC, The Learning Acceleration Division and the Achieving the Dream Initiative. Tutoring is available for many subjects taught at NPCC and is conducted by both professional and peer tutors.

NPCC has three tutoring centers: 

(1) LAD’s Math Lab in MS-203 for tutoring in Basic Math and Beginning Algebra (see tutoring schedule below).

(2) LAD’s Writing Lab in Learning Acceleration Division Office Building, 1st Floor (see tutoring schedule below).

(3) NPCC’s Math and Science Lab in Campus Center 313, for tutoring in Math and Biological Sciences, Greg Fulton, M & W, 8:00 AM-8:00 PM; T, TH, F, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.

Computer Applications Tutoring for Business Division

In the open lab in the Computer Resource Center
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM with Mechelle Burton
Wednesdays 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM with Mechelle Burton
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM with Blake Ellison
