Faculty members who wish to teach mini-courses (offered between semesters or at special times), interim courses (offered between regular semesters and summer sessions), or special courses must have the prior approval of their division chairperson.

The division chairperson should, upon approval of the course, follow the same procedures for requesting administrative and budgetary approval as outlined in Section 5.320.
