Earn your bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or middle-level education (language arts/social studies specialty) without leaving Hot Springs.  You may complete the first two years of either degree at NPCC, and HSU will provide the last two years of either program on the NPCC campus or through distance delivery. All Teachers College, Henderson educator preparation programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

The Henderson School of Business Experience

• The Henderson State University School of Business is accredited by AACSB International--The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
• The quality education offered by Henderson, combined with a highly affordable tuition rate, guarantees the best value among colleges in the U.S.
• Our flexible class schedules are suitable for both full-time and part-time students.
• Class sizes in the School of Business average about 25 students.
• Instructors are actively involved in helping students reach their full potential.

"Business Beyond the Classroom"
The School of Business recognizes the importance of providing students exposure to the business world outside the university classroom. Examples of programs we have implemented for this purpose are:

• The Business Mentorship Experience - a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to receive insights about business from successful business professionals, who mentor our students in small groups to maximize their professional development and career potential.
• The Ross Whipple Student Managed Investment Fund - advanced students manage a $300,000+ stock portfolio, participating in the actual investment process, receiving hands-on experience in researching stocks and making good investment decisions. National competition with other universities is possible.
• Business Plan Competition – entrepreneurial students develop business plans necessary to attract investors while competing for cash prizes.
• Alpha Kappa Psi – The premier developer of principled business leaders. A unique, prestigious professional business fraternity of students, professors, graduates, and professionals
