Getting Started in an Online Course
Enrolling in a Summer/Fall 2011 online course?
If so, here’s what you need to know:
• Register for the ANGEL Orientation (class# 3253 or 1614). This is mandatory for all first time online students.
• Begin the ANGEL Orientation—May 1, 2011 (For both Summer and Fall)
• Logon to your online course—May 23, 2011 for Summer and August 17, 2011 for Fall.
• Contact ANGELSupport@npcc.edu if you have any logon problems.
• Email you online instructor for course requirements (labs or proctor test dates).

• Go to http://angel.npcc.edu
• Log in using your network username and password.
• Username: firstinitiallastname (i.e. John Smith = jsmith)
• Password: lastfourdigitsSSNbirthmonthbirthday (i.e. 12340101)

Online Courses do not begin early! Online courses will be available on the first day of class. On May 23 or August 17, you should log into your online course. If you have any problem logging into your online course, please email angelsupport@npcc.edu.
Additionally, some online instructors require students to attend up to five on-campus meetings for labs, proctored tests, and/or course orientations. Check with your online instructor to see if there will be any required on-campus meetings.
