Aerospace Training Program at NPCC
Revving Up for Spring Semester

National Park Community College Workforce Development Department has scheduled Introduction to Aerospace classes this spring. The first class will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6-9 p.m., from February 10 thru July 30. A second class will run from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting May 6 and concluding October 16.

A free information session is scheduled for Monday, January 27, at 6:00 p.m. in the Aerospace Lab, 101 College Drive, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Representatives from aerospace companies will be on-hand to answer questions about job opportunities and instructors will be available to discuss course requirements.

The program combines classroom instruction and hands-on activities that include: safety maintenance practices, shop math, aircraft blueprints, hand tools, precision measuring, aircraft structural materials, aircraft hardware, aircraft sheet metal, composites, and maintenance manual interpretation.
