Kids’ College at NPCC Announced
for Summer 2014

National Park Community College will host its third annual Summer Kids’ College on campus June 23-26. This experience will be an enrichment boost for students entering 6th through 8th grades in the fall of 2014. Focus will be to cultivate new interests, expand knowledge, and spark imagination and creativity in a non-graded environment. The goal is to inspire students to have an early awareness of some possible career goals and to become motivated to seek higher education.

The concentration this year is STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and classes are Health Heroes, Wood Bits, Get Your Skills On…Stat, Design Hype, Dog Tag Daze, and Photoshop-O-Rama. Students will get to choose their top four of these six classes.

Sessions will run in the mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and the cost will be $70 for the 4-day week (Monday-Thursday). The deadline for registration is June 9th.

More information may be obtained via email to or phone at 760-4312.
