New Employee at NPCC

The Board of Trustees at National Park Community College recently approved employment of the following:

William Polk filled the position of Project Coordinator for the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant recently awarded to NPCC. In this role, he will oversee all activities related to the grant including administration, curriculum development, class scheduling, collaboration with consortium members, and budgetary oversight.

Mr. Polk has his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and is currently working toward an MBA at Henderson State University.  He has over fourteen years of experience in business and industry, including advanced manufacturing for aerospace and defense as an applications engineer, sales management, contracts administrator, and project manager. Other work includes educational administration and teaching at the secondary and post-secondary levels.
