NPTC Announces Medalists at SkillsUSA State Championships

National Park Technology Center students competed in the SkillsUSA State Championships recently at the Hot Springs Convention Center. This event was an opportunity for students to compete in their respective vocational and leadership areas and demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired while in programs at NPTC. The following students were awarded medals at this year's event:

John Charles – Gold Medal in Machine Tool (Lake Hamilton)

Melinda McCutchen – Gold Medal in Advertising and Graphic Design (Lakeside)
Taylor MacPherson – Silver Medal in Advertising and Graphic Design (Lakeside)
Shelby Friederich – Bronze Medal in Advertising and Graphic Design (Jessieville)

Miliori Herrin, Morgan Herrin, Denisse Jaramillo – Silver Medal in Crime Scene Investigation Team Event (Lake Hamilton)

Keanna Peck – Silver Medal in Prepared Speech (Lake Hamilton)

Chandler Overton – Bronze Medal in Felony Traffic Stop (Lakeside)

Landon Gillham – Bronze Medal in Automotive Service Technology (Lakeside)
